As part of this new partnership, it will feed data into the Salesforce platform, using its cloud capabilities to transform life sciences companies. This alliance is on a global scale, and will ensure that Salesforce has a much broader footprint in the life sciences industry, going forward.
In the words of Keith Block, vice chairman, president and COO, Salesforce:
“We are thrilled to align with QuintilesIMS to digitally transform the important work of life sciences companies together. Building on the Salesforce Intelligent Customer Success Platform, QuintilesIMS will create solutions that empower life sciences firms to collaborate with providers and patients, in smarter and more predictive ways, throughout the clinical life cycle.”
Although the terms of this multi-year effort have not been disclosed, QuintilesIMS has already built products on Salesforce’s Marketing Cloud, and will build more technologies in the platform.
